This year's Fall Managed Care Forum keynote sessions and four breakout tracks will provide crucial information for preparing one's organization for the industry changes to come as we move forward with healthcare reform. Presentations will consist of classroom type lectures and interactive sessions, providing both informative and collaborative educational offerings.

The Bellagio's Convention Center is easily accessible from the main hotel area and has a variety of meeting room sizes to accomodate the more intimate sessions and the larger general lecture sessions. The exhibit hall (Grand Ballroom) will be the center of the Fall Forum's activities, as breakfasts, lunches, breaks, the reception and vendor networking will all be focused here. Below is the Convention Center layout for our attendees to get an idea of where the Fall Forum activities will be held.

postheadericon Provider Based Pre Conference Workshop at Fall Managed Care Forum

New to the Fall Forum this year is a provider based pre-conference workshop that will take place on November 3, 2010 from 1:30pm - 5:30pm, which is the day before the conference begins. This half day pre-conference, entitled "Preparing Your Organization for an Era of Accountability," will focus on Payor/Provider Negotiations, Hospital/Physician Integration and Physician Engagement, and P4P Development and Implementation (Payor & Provider Perspective).

This interactive, classroom-style workshop will be presented and facilitated by Doug Chaet, who is an accomplished managed care executive and a noted expert on provider integration. Mr. Chaet is currently the Senior Vice President of Contracting & Provider Networks at Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia, PA, where he is responsible for provider contracting, reimbursement pay-for-performance programs, and overall provider engagement.

If you are interested in learning more about this pre-conference, or the Fall Forum in general, please contact Katie Eads at 804-527-1905.
